Victorian Mantle Transom
Victorian Mantle Transom is named because of its classic Victorian design and because it has hung over the fireplace mantle in my home for the past 20 years. The glass size is 14 1/2" x 30 1/2" with a 1 1/2" oak frame. It is one of my favorite stained glass designs, very simple and yet, very elegant. The outside border glass is a deep ruby red. The background glass is glue chip glass and is particularly useful as a privacy glass. The red and blue glass globs really capture the light in a transom facing the sun.
