She has always wanted to build gift size stained glass Crosses. Having built stained glass windows for 40+ years, I was enthusiastic to help her perfect her designs using some of the 100's of colors of glass available. The concept was to take both clear or colored stained glass strips, attach to a work board, mix in liberal amount of clear broken glass, add various jewels, crowns or other metallic emblems ..... and then clear coat the entire project with poured epoxy resin. One coat of this resin is equal to about 60 coats of varnish. She has perfected a number of unique glass designs combining stained glass with clear epoxy coatings. Each Cross is unique and is hand made by Bettye in her studio in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

These Crosses are a beautiful mixture of sparkle and color designed to hang on your wall or rest in a table or bookshelf easel. Perfect as a gift for friends and family, we hope these Crosses will inspire those who receive them Pictures cannot do them justice.... They are like nothing you have ever seen. The craftsmanship is superb and the way these crosses glow in the light is amazing! We have created dozens of designs in 4 different sizes in dozens of different glass colors and textures. As each glass piece is different, they are offered on a first come - first served basis. We are constantly experimenting with different designs, glass textures and colors. Your input as to design and colors is appreciated. We will try to custom build any cross on a special order basis, as time permits.
Unfortunately, with the demands of other projects .... and our grandchildren, we have had little time recently to build additional Stained Glass Crosses. We have limited inventory and will be happy to sell anything in stock. Please contact us for Cross availability, shipping information, or special orders. We may be able to accommodate special orders particularly for larger quantities and design changes to personalize these Crosses for you. Call to discuss possible orders.

My wife Bettye feels that Crosses are a symbol of celebration.... often representing a memorial, a wedding, a newborn child, a birthday or to celebrate a friendship. Crosses make a great gifts because they have traditionally symbolized love and hope for the future.
