Dean's Stained Glass
Victorian Shell stained glass window was adapted from a design by Bill Hillman from his book "Victorian Stained Glass For Today". This design utilizes many classic Victorian design elements. The central Art Nouveau shell is modeled after a shell on the back side of an old styled US fifty dollar bill. I built this for the bathroom window in my house in 1991. This window measures 34" x 30".

UPDATE - 2025
In 2022, we finished building our new house and put our our home of 32 years on the market to sell. My Victorian Shell, like a number of pieces that were installed in the house, conveyed to the new owners. As the buyers were not fans of stained glass, they were gracious enough to allow me to keep all the glass I had installed in the house over the years.
Victorian Shell, after 32 years in our master bath window, was in perfect shape. After removal from the house, it needed a frame, so I built a 2" heavy mahogany frame so that it can hang in future windows.
Since I do not have a specific place to hang it in my new house, I have decided to sell Victorian Shell .... so that someone else may enjoy it as much as we have. With it's wood frame it measures 32.25" wide and 36.5" tall.
