In 2003, while visiting St. Augustine, Florida, I took some pictures of the magnificent Victorian era stained glass windows in the First United Methodist Church. Built in 1911, this downtown church has some of the most beautiful classic Victorian windows that I have ever seen. I used some of the design elements in these windows as inspiration for my "St. Augustine Arch".

My wife liked the finished window so well that she insisted that I build a matched pair for the front windows in our house.
