Inside Stained Glass Window
In mid 2019, we started building a new house that we called "The Ivy Cottage Project".
I built a Victorian styled stained glass window to go inside the exterior window. Since this is in an attic area, we lit the window from inside with a 5 W LED spotlight.
This Gothic arch stained glass window measures 20.75" x 32.25", contains 106 pieces of glass and was built in September, 2019
Because we are building an English Tudor style home with a high front gable, we decided to put a Gothic Arch window in the top of the gable and build a stained glass window to fit inside.
The goal was to be able to install this window by Easter.... and even though the house was a long way from being finished .... we were able to light up our new window for Easter weekend.
We have been very fortunate in our lives and have been blessed to be able to build our dream home. This window, the most important in our house, we hope stands as a symbol of our faith.
