In mid 2019, we started building a new home we called "The Ivy Cottage Project" based on an English Tudor style design. Being our "dream house," we planned for years to incorporate many unique features and opportunities for stained glass. 24 months later, after Covid 19 and Hurricane Sally, we finally moved in!

In November of 2021, I finally got my new workshop organized so I could get back to building stained glass. My first project was to build a couple of Alabama "A" panels, pictured above. My wife is a big Alabama fan, so of course, she got the first one. The second one went to a good friend who was instrumental in helping us build our new house. Each window measures about 20" x 24", contains 69 pieces of glass and is framed in a finished dark mahogany frame.
My new workshop ...... After 40 years of building glass in basements, un-heated garages, mini-warehouses, carports, extra bedrooms, kitchen tables, etc..... I finally have the workshop of my dreams. Feels good to be back building glass again!
